EXAMINATION OF THE LIMBUS



This photo shows the Palisades of Vogt 
which are often visible with darkly 
pigmented patients.  The palisades are 
radial extensions of the sclera towards 
the cornea at the limbus with epithelial 
cells often 10-12 cell layers thick 
between them.
